WHO WE ARE

Alexandra Hild Robinson is a residential interior designer providing services from large-scale remodels to single room furnishings. I’m able to assist clients in collaborating with architects and builders, selecting architectural details and finishes, and curating furnishings. The firm is renowned for thoughtfully designing primary residences and second homes that reflect local architectural styles and communities. 

Alexandra combines a lifelong love of fashion, architecture, and design with an entrepreneurial brain for business. Alexandra worked as a buyer for Macy’s and then Williams Sonoma Home, where she developed a deep understanding of furniture design and manufacturing. She began her design career with Julie Rootes Interiors (whose work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Casa Vogue, and Elle Decor) before launching Alexandra Hild Interiors in 2021. She’s since continued to hone her craft at Kate Coughlin Interiors in Boston.

Alexandra has completed over 30 projects spanning a wide range of scale and complexity, from two-room remodels to 8,000-square-foot homes. She has designed homes across California, Washington, and New England, including communities in Marin, Mercer Island, and Cape Cod. Alexandra stands out from other designers for both her exceptional project management and budget management skills, as well as her collaborative approach and deep understanding of clients’ style and needs. Stylistically, Alexandra believes in blending traditional and modern elements to create functional spaces that feel timeless and age beautifully.
